Zara Ransley

Zara Ransley is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of MyPocketSkill, an award-winning GenZ platform for financial education, that enables 13-24 years old to Earn, Save and Learn about money with the help of behavioural science. Zara and her co-founder Matt Harker set up MyPocketSkill to address the decline of opportunities for teenagers to gain financial independence and employability skills.  Now, in 2024, MyPocketSkill has seen impressive growth approaching 150,000 sign-ups and recently won European Institute of Technology Digital Champion of Europe award.

Zara, a parent to two teenagers (and a cockerpoo called Didi), holds an MBA from the London Business School and before setting up MyPocketSkill, had a 15 year career in the financial services industry with experience as an investment analyst. She is also a winner of the Women of Innovation award by Innovate UK and has previously been in the Women in FinTech Powerlist (Innovate Finance).
