CEO Steve Pomfret founded Cygnetise in 2016 after identifying the considerable risks and inefficiencies that traditional manual and paper-based signatory registers posed to financial institutions and other companies. The user-friendly SaaS solution simplifies and solves the pain of Authorised Signatory Management by enabling operations, finance, legal and compliance departments to digitally manage and share authorised signatories, bank mandates and authorised traders, in real time, with banks and other counterparties, making the process more efficient, transparent, and secure. Previously, Steve worked in operational change within large banks and brokers, acting as an internal consultant to improve efficiency and minimise risk in areas including emerging markets, investment banking, custody, fund administration, wealth management, trade finance and corporate banking.
