Richard Bartlett
Co‑Founder and CEO, GreenHearth
Richard Bartlett is Co‑Founder and CEO of GreenHearth, a fintech company building technology to simplify and scale the financing of energy transition infrastructure for SMEs. Since founding in 2024, GreenHearth’s software has been used to analyse more than £40m of solar and energy storage projects, supporting both corporate investment decisions and lender funding approvals.
GreenHearth’s platform bridges the worlds of physical energy assets and financial markets — combining project modelling, risk analysis and financing workflows to enable integrated solutions across the planning, construction and operational lifecycle of assets.
Richard brings over 25 years of financing experience. He previously served as Global Head of Coverage and Debt Capital Markets at RBS (now NatWest), where he was responsible for the private‑side activities of the Corporate and Investment Banking division. Since 2016, he has worked with a number of early‑stage fintech businesses before co‑founding GreenHearth, focusing on how technology can unlock capital for real‑economy investment.
