Nitesh Palana is Thought Machine's Director of Risk and Compliance and Head of Government Affairs. In this role, he is responsible for professionalising the company and ensuring it meets its legal, regulatory and contractual requirements. Nitesh is also responsible for data protection, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and relationships with regulators and policymakers.
Before working at Thought Machine, Nitesh worked in management consultancy, regulatory consultancy, regulation, public affairs, and politics. In his work with Innovate Finance, Nitesh leads Thought Machine's public policy objectives of ensuring there is a favourable ecosystem for UK Fintechs to grow and succeed.
