Niki Beattie

A strategist and specialist in capital markets infrastructure with a background in trading, technology, regulation and investment banking with 14 years of corporate governance experience at both listed and private organisations in global financial services and technology.  

Niki began her career in working in technology at Security Pacific/Bank of America and went on to work at Merrill Lynch for 14 years where she became Managing Director and Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Market Structure (EMEA). She is now Managing Director of Market Structure Partners (MSP), a strategic advisory firm she founded in 2008. MSP undertakes market intelligence, strategy and implementation work, related to regulatory and technology changes in global financial markets.  Niki is also currently Chair of ClearToken, as well as a Board Director of Iress and the Financial Markets Standards Board.  She has previously sat on multiple other boards all related to financial services, including as Chair of Aquis Exchange and Chair of XTX.
