Matthew Harker

Matthew Harker is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of MyPocketSkill - an award winning platform for young people (aged 13 - 24) to earn, save and learn about money. Matthew set up MyPocketSkill to address the decline of opportunities for teenagers, like his own, to gain financial independence and employability skills.  The GenZ platform has seen impressive growth with nearly 150K signed-up users generating platform and contract revenues.

Alongside his Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Zara Ransley, MyPocketSkill has recently won the prestigious Santander X Global Challenge for Education, Employability and Entrepreneurship 2024 and the respected European Institute of Technology ‘Digital Champion of Europe’ 2024 award.

Prior to founding MyPocketSkill, Matthew had a background in digital products and public sector consulting.  He is an experienced innovator with a successful track record in leading the development of digital applications to transform lives and is passionate about the use of technology as a catalyst for impactful change.
