"I'm a compliance leader and MLRO with experience across payments (C2B, B2C and B2B) and consumer credit (BNPL). I started my career at Thunes, where I helped launch and grow their emerging market payments network from zero to $3 Billion payment volume across several legal and compliance roles. I now lead Clearpay's AML compliance program as MLRO, and support the firm's preparation for anticipated Buy Now Pay Later regulation.

I'm also a gay man."

"At Clearpay, part of Block Inc, I co-chair the Europe chapter of the Pride employee network. In this role I have advocated for improvements to LGBTQIA+ DEI programs, organised educational workshops about issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community, and partnered with other affinity groups to bring our communities together to celebrate our diversity."

"Compliance isn't considered the sexiest role in FinTech. But in reality, it offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to have a huge impact. So I'm sharing my story to inspire others to consider compliance and to build my queer FinTech network."
