Your Story:

I am the Co-founder&CTO of a banking as a service startup Fiat Republic that is on a mission to bridge banking and crypto. I am responsible for building the tech strategy and driving the innovation behind the Fiat Republic product.

I am engineer at heart (holding Masters in Control Systems and Robotics), passionate about empowering women in tech. I am committed to diversity and inclusion, being myself a proud representative of LGBT+ community, which is reflected at Fiat Republic, where employees come from many nationalities and cultural backgrounds with 50% of leadership roles held by women. With around 10 years of experience in Engineering, I led optimisation of IT infrastructure and designed the new cloud architecture at Habito. I was instrumental in the launch of the new OpenPayd platform in 2019 and introduced the Platform Engineering function in OpenPayd, building and managing the team. I co-founded Fiat Republic and lead the development of a production ready platform within a matter of months.

Your Impact:

I am an author of DareIT Cloud Challenge that empowers women to start their journey in IT. I was the Mentor of the first edition and am the Mentor of the second edition of the challenge (second edition starts in October) https://www.dareit.io/challenges/cloud.

I would like to be featured in the Pride Powerlist to empower others and show that visibility matters. Living your life out in the open is not something that stops the career and everyone should feel safe to be themselves.

Your Advice:

Just take the first step and don't doubt yourself. Even if you fail, you will learn from it. Be yourself and don't worry about what others think, even if you think you don't belong, there are places that really make sure that everyone feels welcomed.
