Joel Blake OBE

Business leader, Executive Advisor and Public Speaker and Facilitator, Joel is actively sought for his authentic ability to help organisations balance commercial growth with inclusive impact, through the use of technology and finance. He has over 20 years experience of advising and consulting with global blue-chip corporates, active investors and business support organisations.

He is the Founder of GFA Exchange, an AI-enabled fintech startup that helps companies expand into diverse client bases with less risk. He is also Board Advisor to Taranis Capital, an emerging global fintech investment fund based in the Middle East. He previously helped to scale a SME finance brokerage that funded 700 diverse businesses and is the former President of the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce.

In 2019, he was chosen as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Black Voices in UK tech and was awarded an OBE for Services to Business Support and Enterprise in 2016.
