Jill Docherty

Jill Docherty is a dynamic and results driven payment executive, with extensive global experience across traditional and emerging payment ecosystems, including real-time and cross border payment solutions. Most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Issuing at Nuvei Ltd. Previously Jill held senior leadership roles at Nium Fintech Ltd and Visa Inc., where she demonstrated expertise in customer success, business development and product commercialisation.  

Her early career includes leadership positions at Mastercard, where she managed marketing and product strategies across Africa and Asia Pacific, and at top advertising agencies including McCann Erickson and Grey Worldwide.

Jill is recognised for her authentic leadership, strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex challenges into actionable solutions.

Jill is a marketing graduate from the Durban University of Technology and is passionate about fostering diversity and inclusion, demonstrated by her role in launching Women@Nium, in addition to several other speaking opportunities highlighting the diversity challenges in payments.

Jill has transformed functional responsibilities for Account Management, Customer Success, Business Development and Product Commercialisation over the past 15 years. She can quickly identify areas of inefficiency, define a plan to close the gaps, execute this plan and provide real tangible revenue growth.
