James Neville

James Neville is the CEO and co-founder of award-winning instant cardless payment platform Yaspa. Founded in 2017, Yaspa blends open banking and AI to provide Intelligent Payments: real-time bank payments (Pay by Bank) combined with verified customer insights, as well as a full suite of payment and account verification services.

Prior to founding Yaspa, James held senior operational positions in a wide range of leading brands, including Shopa, WGSN, Just-Eat and Sportingbet. In 2015, while CTO at Worldpay, he launched their next-generation online payment platform amidst major legislative changes from GDPR and SCA to the EU’s PSD2. Today James builds on his decades of fintech experience to craft Yaspa into a market leader in the global financial landscape: pioneering simplicity and driving meaningful change.
