James Edwards
Founder, Truzy
James Edwards is the Founder of Truzy, the world’s first review platform powered by open banking, where he is redefining trust and transparency in the digital economy.
He founded Truzy to tackle the systemic issue of review manipulation—a challenge where nearly half of all reviews are fraudulent. Recognising the broader implications for market integrity, the FCA and ICO have worked collaboratively with James through sandboxes to help define how open banking protocols and privacy preserving technologies should be deployed for this use case.
With an extensive background in proposition development and innovation for major financial institutions, James has spent his career at the forefront of financial technology. His experience within the banking sector provided the foundation for building secure, user-centric solutions that leverage emerging data standards to solve real world problems.
Through Truzy, James is driving a shift away from manipulated feedback systems toward a future of verified, incorruptible social proof, allowing users to authenticate experiences anonymously via a secure, one-off connection. His work sits at the intersection of fintech and consumer advocacy, establishing a new global benchmark for digital trust.
