Finding the right balance between the competing priorities in a business that is growing fast and expanding is a tough job, and Leanne has played an important role in helping colleagues in technology, change and our commercial teams navigate this. This has helped Atom grow its customer numbers, balances and profitability, while continuing to remain a market leader on Trustpilot and the app store. The business has raised more equity capital from its cornerstone investors to maintain the momentum and back the implementation of the firm's strategy. Leanne has acheived this by getting the best out of her small team, whom she has coached and developed, in addition to building strong relationship across the wider business. Away from her core role, she acts as a coach and mentor to colleagues outside of her own team and is a strong voice, advocate and role model for DEI initiatives.

Leanne is a strong voice for women in the workplace, challenging concious and unconcious biases where she sees them. The importance of flexible approaches to work for parents and carers for example is something she is passionate about. She champions this locally on a day to day basis by walking-the-walk, supporting her team but she also speaks up to make sure it features in conversations about approaches to business wide ways of working in the post-covid world. Leanne describes herself as someone with neurodivergent tendencies and she sets a powerful role model by speaking up about this in a range of settings. Whether it be it a small and intimate team meeting, a whole team stand-up or meetings with the CEO and executive, it sets an example and a tone that different approaches to how people think, work and act should be acknowledged and welcomed.
