Clare Francis

Clare is an experienced CEO, Board member and Senior Advisor with a proven track record across Tradfi leading transformational change programmes and delivering advisory services to corporate, financials, institutions, boards, and governments across global markets, Clare has 20 years board-level experience and is currently a senior advisor to Provenance Blockchain, Chair of Risk Committee at CMC Markets (and a member of the Nomination, Audit and RemCo), advisor to the UK Department for Department of Business and Trade and a Non-Executive Director of BoA Merrill Lynch International where she is a member of the Risk and Governance Committees.  Formerly Clare was on the boards of British American Business, AFME and UK Financial Services (DBT) and was CEO of Standard Chartered UK, Global Head of the Corporate & Institutional Bank at Lloyds Bank and Head of Europe Financial Market Sales at HSBC. She recently studied Sustainability at Cambridge and Fintech at Harvard.  At HSBC she was part of the team that developed HSBC Global Trading platforms and whilst at Lloyds bank led the team responsible for the Design, Distribution and implementation of the bank’s E-markets platform.
