Clare Barclay

Clare Barclay is President of Enterprise and Industry EMEA at Microsoft, where she is responsible for driving Microsoft's growth ambitions in EMEA and driving AI industry innovation across the 120 markets in EMEA. Prior to her appointment in November 2024, Clare spent four years as CEO of Microsoft UK, leading through a period of significant transformation and growth.

With nearly three decades in industry, most of them in diverse roles across Microsoft, Clare has been able to channel her deep passion for diversity and inclusion, as well as helping young people succeed in tech careers across the sector. 

In October of 2024, she was appointed by the UK Government as the Chair of the new Industrial Strategy Advisory Council, responsible for leading the growth strategy across industry sectors.  She also sits on the advisory board of the British Heart Foundation.

She lives in London with her husband and two sons.
