Chris Hemsley is a highly experienced cross-sector regulatory leader and Director at Fingleton. Chris’ expertise in regulatory decision-making and economics is founded on over 20 years’ experience working for financial services, utilities and transport regulators. He led the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) and was the Executive Director on the Board. At the PSR, Chris was responsible for high-profile competition enforcement, market reviews and major reforms to consumer protection. He also provides thought leadership across open banking, the growth of digital wallets and the emergence of stablecoin and crypto technologies in payments.
