Carolina Minio-Paluello
Co-founder and CEO, Vitruvya
With 20+ years in asset management, Carolina has transitioned to the fintech world to harness technology and make personalised institutional investments accessible to individuals - giving them a voice through their money.
Individuals have the power to shape their future. Yet, many fail to believe this fundamental truth because they are constrained by outdated systems. The reality is, they can influence corporations by choosing which products they buy and whom they work for. Today, they can drive even more change by leveraging innovation to maximize the impact of our financial decisions. When consciously deployed, money and technology empower individuals to achieve wealth sovereignty and catalyse meaningful transformation - exactly what the next generation, set to inherit $100trillion over the next decade, seeks.
At the end of 2024, Carolina created Vitruvya, a technology platform designed to enable individuals to expand their perspective and achieve financial independence. It makes investing simple, transparent and founded on freedom of choice, so that individuals can challenge conventions and allocate capital to companies that reflect their values and priorities. Vitruvya is built on blockchain and AI technologies that unlock new possibilities. It partners with wealth and retail distributors, as well as asset managers, to deliver personalised institutional portfolios to individuals.
Before launching Vitruvya, she led Arabesque AI for two years, a technology platform that enables portfolio managers to build efficient, customized single-stock portfolios with AI- driven alpha signals.
Her involvement with technology projects started in 2019, when she joined Schroders’ Global Management Committee as Global Head of Product, Solutions & Quant. She worked on mass customization and blockchain infrastructures aimed at delivering personalized investment tokens.Carolina was a Limited partner Lombard Odier IM and Global Head of Solutions for six years. She pioneered sustainability initiatives long before they gained widespread attention.
