Adizah Tejani

Adizah joined HSBC’s global HSBC’s Corporate Venture Capital team as a global portfolio manager in late 2021. The team invest into technology companies which are strategically relevant to HSBC or the wider Financial Services ecosystem, committing $3m - $15m across funding stages from Series A to Growth. The team have made c.30 such investments globally since inception in 2014. HSBC’s portfolio includes companies such as Consensys, Cloudbees, Quantexa and BioCatch. 

Before joining the VC world Adizah work within HSBC’s UK Digital business driving fintech product partnerships and was part of the leadership team. She is the former Director of Marketing EMEA at Token a fintech startup from San Francisco and was the first marketing hire in the European market in 2016. In 2013 she was part of the founding team of Level39, a technology accelerator focused on fintech products. Over the years Adizah has picked up a number of awards and in 2018 was named by the FT as one of the top 100 2018 EMpower ethnic minority executives in the UK and North America.
