What is it about IFGS that has brought you to the event this year?
Innovate Finance is the authority on all things fintech and as such the global summit is the one 'do not move' event in the annual calendar of all players operating within this space, both start ups and more established brands.

What is the biggest change you have seen in the FinTech industry over the past 12 months?
A refocus on tech as an enabler in delivering the best possible outcomes for customers. In some instances this means an optimal approach is a hybrid one between human and tech.

What do you believe to be the most vital implication of Brexit on UK Fintech? Brain drain as London based startups consider relocating core operations abroad to facilitate access to the best and brightest talent across the continent, free of labour movement restrictions. Conversely, those people who might otherwise have made London their first choice destination for a fintech role, may simply head elsewhere.

What are your go-to reads for industry updates and insights? FT, Money Week and Professional Adviser.

If you could be stuck in a lift with 3 people who would it be and why? Michelle Obama for a good pep talk, Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder of Bumble to find out how she did it, and Diddy for his inspirational words of wisdom, entrepreneurial track record and also because I think he'd be quite entertaining!
