Lending start-up Elfin Market reaches £1.2 million target on Seedrs in 48 hours and goes into overfunding
UK lending platform Elfin Market launched a crowdfunding round on Seedrs on the 6th of November, 2023.
The £1,200,000 target set up was initially achieved in 48 hours, and Elfin Market decided to keep the campaign running and go into overfunding.
So far, the campaign has attracted more than 175 individual investors on Seedrs.
“The growth we’ve experienced over the last year has been incredible. The demand for affordable, flexible credit with no hidden fees has been greater than we could have possibly imagined. This funding round will allow us to grow massively. It’s a very exciting time to be involved”
– Mansour Bouaziz, C.E.O and co-founder.
Elfin Market offers revolving credit similar to a credit card. Borrowers on the platform get access to a line of credit with a credit limit and can withdraw directly to their bank account or use the world’s first peer-to-peer payment card, the Elfin card, to make purchases.
“A big thank you to all of our investors! Your support means the world to us, and it’s a pleasure to have you on board. With your investment, we can help more of the UK save on credit.”
– Lakshithe Wagalath – C.O.O and co-founder
The Elfin Market platform has been operating since September 2019.
It has gone from strength to strength with over 20,000 customers and more than £60,000,000 lent. This crowdfunding round will allow the platform to grow, offer affordable credit to more UK customers, and enable new product development.
